MEET MELANIE
I’m Melanie, the lead photographer behind Melanie Rose Photography. I’ve been doing this for over 20 years now. I started out photographing weddings, but as my lovely couples began growing their families, they started asking me to capture their newborns and familIes too. That’s when I found my true passion.
Over the years, I’ve photographed just about every genre you can think of, but nothing compares to capturing the real moments of families and children. There’s something so special about little people and their little features and individual personalities.
I’m lucky to be surrounded by an amazing team who helps bring everything together behind the scenes.
MEET DANIELLE (or DiDi as she's known around here)
Danielle has been working with me since 2014. She’s brilliant at getting even the shyest little ones to smile and play along, so much so, we had a shirt made for her saying 'the favourite', as the kids love her so much. She also takes care of the editing and orders, making sure everything looks perfect before it heads out to you.
MEET SHADA
Shada, who’s been part of the Melanie Rose Photography family for over 10 years. She worked with me both as a photographer and in the office before taking some time off to have her own babies, and now she’s back helping with editing and production. With her background in pro photo lab printing and photography, she brings so much experience and care to every image we deliver.
MEET ELLIE
Ellie has been shooting with our sister company, Your Photographer for over a year now. When it came to looking for another talented and lovely person to add to our office team, Ellie was the obvious, no brainer choice. Ellie assists with office admin, orders, content and all the behind the scenes bit and pieces that need to get done.
We are a small, close-knit team who absolutely love what we do. Our sessions are relaxed, full of fun, and all about capturing your little ones just as they are. We love to capture the kids and see them grow year after year and help freeze those sweet, silly and unique personalities that makes them, them.
