That's why our Back to School Mini Sessions are all about capturing your child exactly as they are, right now, whether it's their very first day of Prep or their last year before graduating. Ten minutes, a chalkboard, and a whole lot of personality.

During your child's time in front of the camera, we have a little chat which is all about them...their favourite foods, what they want to be when they grow up, their favourite things. Their answers are edited onto the chalkboard, captured exactly as they said them.
It's the small, funny, sometimes surprising answers that make this photo so special and so different every single year.

Pop your child in their school uniform, socks, shoes, and hat, and bring their backpack along on the day.
STEP 3: Enjoy the Session
Come along and let your child have fun in front of the camera. No stress, no pressure, just ten relaxed minutes.
STEP 4: View & Download
After your session, you'll get a link and password to your private gallery, where your Chalkboard Photo is ready to download, plus any extra images available to purchase.

Can I include siblings?
Yes! Add a sibling to your session for an extra $15. If you'd like a cousin included too, we recommend booking two back-to-back sessions.
What props are included?
Everything you see in the example photos. The chalkboard, oversized pencils, glasses, a book, and an apple. All you need to bring is your child's uniform, bag, and hat.
How many backdrop changes are included?
Two. Our plain full-length backdrop and the map backdrop. All children are photographed on both backdrops.
Do I need to prepare the answers to the chalkboard questions beforehand?
Not at all. We ask them during the session, so their answers are completely natural and unrehearsed.
